Laurence Granite

Larry joined Team Tarle in December 2019 and practices out of Tarle Law’s Austin, Texas office defending clients throughout the state handling complex, multi-party, commercial and residential construction defect claims as well as bodily injury, wrongful death and premises liability claims via third party commercial general liability policies of insurance. 

After graduating college with a B.A. in communications, Larry became a pioneer in the legal video business providing videotaping services to attorneys. He is one of the first 50 Legal Video Specialists to be certified. While recording depositions, day-in-the-life documentaries, and wills he became interested in practicing law and pursued his vision of helping others through his law degree.

For over 30 years, Larry has focused his practice in insurance defense litigation. He tries, arbitrates, and mediates diverse cases in state and federal court. Through Larry’s extensive experience handling and analyzing complex legal matters, he developed the ability to quickly assess each case and identify the facts requiring development to achieve a favorable resolution as early as practical.

In his spare time, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, four stepchildren, and six grandchildren, attending live music events in Austin (The Live Music Capital of the world), and serving as a Texas Moot Court Competition Judge.
