Kwame joined Team Tarle in August 2021 and practices out of Tarle Law’s Austin, Texas office. Kwame was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kwame graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in political science and a minor in philosophy. Kwame earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law. While at UT, Kwame served as President of the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society and completed hundreds of hours of pro bono, primarily focusing on the area of education for children with special needs. 

Upon graduation, Kwame practiced for an insurance defense firm focusing on insurance defense including third-party general liability claims involving transportation, premises liability, product liability, bodily injury and wrongful death. Prior to joining Tarle Law, Kwame practiced Medicaid fraud litigation with the Texas HHSC Office of Inspector General.

In his free time, Kwame enjoys spending time with his three dogs and wife. Kwame also enjoys participating and watching all forms of sports, volunteer work, cooking, and listening to true crime podcasts.
