Thereafter he worked at a firm specializing in employment defense, primarily for the City of Los Angeles. He then spent some time as an in-house attorney at a world renowned institute of bioscience called Scripps Research, a general counsel for a biotechnology company and assisted many other companies in transactions and disputes as an outside general counsel. He has also participated in numerous personal injury cases as an independent attorney/Of Counsel, including one major case that culminated in a published opinion regarding application of the Special Risk Exception to company parties.
In his free time, Dimitri enjoys spending time with his daughter and other family. He also loves playing guitar and singing at open mics, karaoke, reading and discussing history or investing, watching baseball and enjoying a good cup of coffee with friends.
